Position Summary

A hospital in Roseburg, OR is seeking Pediatric Hospitalist locum coverage for multiple dates with ongoing needs into 2026. This is inpatient-only work across a Level II nursery , newborn care, ED consults, and stabilization/transfer of critical pediatric patients.

Updated Pay Rates

24-Hour Call: $2760/day
Call-Back: $230/hour

Coverage Dates

• 1/26 4-hour orientation
• 1/27 (AM) 2/2 (AM)
• 2/8 (AM) 2/16 (AM)

Typical Census:
• 4 6 newborns/day

• Able to perform IVIG

Deal Breakers:
Provider must have performed at least 2 within last 24 months of:

• Daily rounding on pediatric inpatients & newborns

• Attend high-risk deliveries only when needed (rare: 1 2/mo)
• 15-minute in-person emergency response time
• Stabilize critical patients before transfer
