Hotel Front Desk Agent

The Front Desk Agent is the face of the hotel, and provides superior service to all guests. Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting guests, complete the check-in/check-out procedure through the Property management system while obtaining and storing pertinent information.
  • Handles cash, credit card information and goods at the property
  • Identifying the needs of each guest and provides relevant information regarding the hotel services and amenities, to create an accommodating environment for all. Respond to all guest requests in a timely manner.
  • Taking reservations from incoming callers while providing excellence in service and inputs all information into the hotel management system. Updates and cancels reservations in the system as requested by the guest.

SOURCING MANAGER, INDIRECT

We are a progressive procurement organization pushing the boundaries of traditional procurement reputation and methodologies. This individual will support indirect supplier management and SG&A spend reduction initiatives. The purchasing team has aggressive objectives for 2026 that positively impact our product and bottom line. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategy/Sourcing: Create sourcing strategies for assigned categories to reduce risk and meet targets for the purchasing department including but not limited to payment terms, cash targets, and cost savings
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain key internal stakeholder relationships to create strategic sourcing models that optimize the value of products and services that support business unit requirements to maintain continuous cost reduction programs for controllable expenditures. Communicate, manage, and drive compliance to category strategies. Provides solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
  • Change Management: Successfully partner across functions and with senior internal stakeholders and external suppliers to drive results, influence others and facilitate change management across the company
  • Analysis: Responsible for advanced quantitative analysis to identify financial impacts of decisions and performance for category managed. Perform business process analysis and develop models to improve cost Collaborate with stakeholders to define SLAs and KPIs for suppliers and measure the appropriate criteria, such as delivery of business results, cost reduction, quality, and timeliness of delivery
  • Conduct research, perform benchmarking, and gather market analysis for assigned categories
  • Contract Management: Responsible for authoring contract documents with the Legal Department. Management of contracts ensuring performance of the supplier to contract obligations. Understand interrelationships between contracts and terms while applying creativity and sound business reasoning to interpret the application of contracts to business needs
  • Negotiations: Utilize negotiations to maximize value and cost savings benefits while lowering risk
  • Supplier Management: Manage preferred suppliers for assigned category. Create and implement related management programs to develop, continuously improve, manage the performance of, and monitor KPIs of the supply base
  • Tactical Purchasing - Place purchase orders and resolve blocked invoices related to assigned categories
  • Performs assignments independently with instruction limited to the results expected
  • Efficiency: Develop and lead efforts to reduce the number of transactions for assigned categories

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced degree and 3+ years of experience working in one or more of the following; or bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience working in one or more of the following:
    • Engineering
    • Purchasing
    • Contract negotiation
    • Material or production planning
    • Operations or supply chain management
    • Material cost control

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in a purchasing or supply chain role
  • Technical skills in current technologies and applications (e.g. MS Office Suite, SQL, PowerBI)
  • Experience with Construction, Facilities or Contingent Labor
  • Exceptional analytical and organizational skills
  • Remarkable problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize appropriately to meet internal customer and company needs
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to communicate with all levels of internal personnel
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to respond quickly to a fast-moving and ever-changing environment

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed to meet critical deadlines

  • Must be able to travel - up to 20% work week travel may be required
  • This position is based in Austin, TX, and requires being onsite full-time hybrid and remote work will not be considered

THE OPPORTUNITY

Dillard's is seeking a Production Control / Technical Support Analyst to work the night shift at our Data Centers in Central Arkansas. You must be able to work a flexible schedule, which includes weekends, holidays, and after hours.

This position's primary focus is assisting users of Dillard's Information Technology services who are experiencing complex procedural or operational problems with IT applications, hardware, or services. It is also responsible for executing, monitoring, and resolving issues with batch processing.

THE TEAM

Night Shift Operations is responsible for closing the business day and starting the batch processes during the overnight hours, performing systems maintenance, monitoring the performance of the batch processes, and ensuring all company applications are available on time to start the next business day. They are also responsible for providing technical support to all Dillard locations that are still online when the evening shift starts and as those locations come online in the morning.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Provide technical software, hardware, and network problem resolution to all IT resource users by performing question/problem diagnosis and guiding users through step-by-step solutions
  • Must be able to function independently
  • Handle phone and email support for moderate system or content issues
  • Identify, resolve, and escalate issues when necessary
  • Clearly communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly, professional manner
  • Record interactions in our service ticket database
  • Leverage AI to quickly review service ticket histories and problem descriptions to identify patterns in recurring inquiries, and draft clear, standardized resolution documentation for the service ticket database
  • Occasionally assist other staff members and monitor open tickets to ensure timely and effective resolution
  • Provide equipment upgrade and maintenance assistance to personnel at all Dillard's operating locations
  • Ensure all batch processes are started and completed in a timely manner

THE "MUST-HAVES"

  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Education or at least two years of experience working in a help desk or technical support call center environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must possess a customer-friendly attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

THE "NICE-TO-HAVES"

  • Previous customer service experience
  • Previous experience in a network operations field
  • Previous IT Operations or production control experience
  • Knowledge of Job Control Language (JCL) and batch scheduling applications (Zeke)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists with month-end and year-end close processes and financial reporting.
  • Prepare and file monthly and quarterly sales and use tax returns.
  • Support inventory audits, physical inventories, and cycle counts, and related reconciliations.
  • Partner with plant and business unit leadership to analyze results, investigate variances, and improve reporting accuracy.
  • Help identify and implement process improvements that strengthen internal controls, improve reporting timeliness, and support cash flow management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, GAAP, and applicable local, state, and federal reporting requirements.
  • Support ad hoc analysis, audit requests, and special projects as assigned.
  • Travel occasionally to plants and other operating sites.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
