In this role, you will work cross‑functionally to design, develop, and maintain critical software systems that power our products. This is a full‑time position located in Bronx, NY (GAL Manufacturing).

Position Summary

The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting software for elevator control systems. This role includes designing and debugging embedded systems, collaborating with cross‑functional engineering teams, documenting software functionality, and supporting field testing and troubleshooting efforts. Key Responsibilities

Job Description

The Solutions Architect role is responsible for all the technical aspects of project implementation. The Solutions Architect team is comprised of staff with a variety of skill levels in a variety of knowledge domains related to all the solutions in the Command Center suite.   • Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public‑speaking events like AWS Summit & AWS re:Invent.
  • Guide and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts aligned to customers and create field enablement materials for the broader SA population.
  • Design and deliver practice build and continual improvement to partners’ business, ensuring partners adopt architectures and implementations that meet or exceed customer needs.

About the Team

The Amazon Connect Decisions Specialist Team is composed of deep CX and Enterprise Contact Center domain experts who work directly with customers to solve their most complex challenges. The team stays closely connected to customers, bringing valuable data and insights to product teams and strengthening the product roadmap.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of design, implementation or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
  • 4+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas (software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in software development or Internet‑related industries.
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
  • Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary ranges: USA, NY, New York – $144,500.00 – $195,400.00 USD annually; USA, WA, Seattle – $131,300.00 – $177,600.00 USD annually.
  • Package includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation determined by experience, qualifications, and location.
