  • Maintain compliance with current regulatory expectations and practices (e.g., USP).

  • Implement and maintain standards and processes that eliminate waste throughout the department.
  • Apply and utilize 'lean tools' to permanently implement improvements.
  • Institutionalize 5-S in all aspects of the department (Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain).

Essential Skills:

  • GMP, batch record, Quality assurance
  • Microbiology industry experience within personal care, pharmaceuticals, or cosmetics
  • Standard micro tests such as selective subcultures, rapid growth media, and making media
  • Experience in manufacturing industry, GMP environment, CAPA, FDA, and audit

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field
  • 1-2+ years of quality and/or QA experience from pharmaceutical, medical device, or cosmetics (food & beverage experience considered)
  • Experience reviewing batch records and/or compounding records
  • Working knowledge of cGMP & 21CFR regulations

Work Environment:

This is a Monday to Friday position, working from 4:00 am to 12:00 pm. The role involves spending the majority of time on the manufacturing floor to ensure equipment efficiency and cleanliness. When not on the floor, duties include reviewing batch records, writing protocols, and assisting with investigations. Optional overtime on Saturdays and possibly Sundays is available.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eden Prairie, MN.

Pay and Benefits:
