JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking multiple Electrical Control Engineers with a focus in Protection Controls Automation for a large energy management and engineering automation company. This organization is responsible for working directly with end customers to lead project teams to develop solutions that align with the power protection for a business-critical equipment and applications. You will do this by visiting client sites like commercial buildings, data centers, and industrial facilities, etc. Your responsibilities include assessing customers' technical needs and objectives, and delivering solutions that align with project specifications, scope of work, schedule, and budget. After gathering end users requirements needed for enhancements, you will develop proposals, draft up technical reports, and overall execute the project. This individual must have an electrical engineering background and come from a power distribution background. This position is primarily remote, working a standard 40 hours/week. It is required to conduct at least 25% travel to the customer sites within the region you are based out of. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Electrical Engineering Bachelor's degree

• 5+ years' experience as a Power Systems Engineer with a background specific to power distribution (not looking for industrial automation)

• Experience taking customer requirements for upgrades or retrofits of existing switchboard/switchgear for automatic controls, transfer systems or automatic relays

• Experience working with Integrators

• Development experience with Automation transfer systems, protection relay systems, switchboard and switchgear controls, and control wiring designs.

• Strong experience with PLCs and HMIs (Allen Bradley, ABB, etc)

• Experience creating proposals, preparing documentation, design drawings, and working with the customers on these needs.

• Industry experience in commercial buildings, industrial facilities, data center, utilities & renewable energy sites

• Ability to travel 25% per year within the region the individual is located

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Professional Engineer (PE) license

  • Experience in ATO programming, relay programming and commissioning, electrical maintenance and testing, electrical power system studies, and electrical distribution design.

Demonstrates ability to recognize and Institute arrhythmia protocol for the following Cardiac rhythms V-tach, V-fib, PVC's, asystole, 1 st , 2 nd and 3 rd degree heart block, atrial fibrillation, and atrial flutter.
Directs, supervises, and evaluates nursing care provided to patients.
Administers medications utilizing the seven rights of medication administration: right patient, route, time, medication, dose, reason and documentation.
Assist physicians with special tests and procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, arterial line and bronchoscopy.
Participates in economical utilization of supplies and ensures that equipment is maintained in a clean and safe manner.
Participates in orientation of new personnel and performance evaluations of nursing staff.
Assists team members in giving care to patients or administers direct care when professional nursing skills and judgment are needed.
Coordinates nursing care of patients when scheduled for therapy or procedures by other departments.
Assists with or institutes emergency measures for sudden adverse developments in patients such as cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest, or sepsis.
Salary Ranges: $45.26 - $56.27 per hour

Qualifications
Education :
~ Graduate from an accredited Registered Nursing program.


Licenses/Certification :
Current state licensure as Registered Nurse.
BCLS certification and ACLS required.

Experience :
~ Minimum one year training and experience in Critical Care.

The Regional Clinical Consultant (RCC) assists in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the clinical departments within the skilled nursing facilities. Clinical areas of responsibility include: Nursing, Activities, Social Services, Dietary Services, and Facility Environment. This role will cover Flint and the surrounding areas.

Some responsibilities of the Regional Clinical Coordinator (RN)

include:

Conducts facility support visits to ensure ongoing progress of clinical operations goals and improvement plans. Communicates findings to the Clinical Services leadership

Make written oral reports/recommendations to the Administrator, Clinical Services leadership, and Regional Director of Operations (RDO) as necessary/required concerning the operation of the Nursing Department, and other departments at the facility.

Review data submitted each month from all facility Directors of Nursing for facilities assigned (such as DON Reports, Incident and Accident Data) to assist the facility and to identify trending regarding concerns with resident care. Report all concerns to the Clinical Services leadership and Regional Director of Operations as necessary.

Assist in participating in the mock survey process

Review facility plan of corrections for all deficiencies noted during mock survey inspections to assist the facility to develop appropriate plans of corrections to meet the needs of all residents in the facility.

Schedule visits announced and unannounced visits to the facility.

Assumes the key leadership role in mentorship and education to the Director of Nursing and other facility staff to ensure competency for position responsibilities, professional development and retention.

Maintains contact with the Clinical Services leadership to inform of potential Director of Nursing turnover and status of recruitment and retention efforts

Travel throughout Northern Michigan required.

Education and/or Experience:

5 year(s) experience in a supervisory capacity in a long-term care facility.

Experience in multi-facility management or demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Current state license to practice as a registered nurse (RN). BSN preferred.
