Job Summary and Qualifications
The role of the Surgical Technologist III is to assist the OR team in the care of patients, equipment and supplies. The Surgical Technologist III in 701 Surgery provides care for adolescent patients between 12 to 17 years of age; adult patients between 18 to 64 years; and geriatric patients 65 years and older. The surgical technologist in the first scrub role handles the instruments, supplies and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. The Surgical Technologist III understands the procedure being performed and anticipates the needs of the surgeon. The Surgical Technologist III has the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure and is constantly on vigil for maintenance of the sterile field. When the Surgical Technologist III is in the second scrub role they assist the surgeon and/or surgical assistant during the operative procedure by carrying out tasks including sponging, suctioning, cutting suture, holding retractors and manipulating the endoscopic camera.
What qualifications you will need:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Certified Operating Room Technicians (CORT)
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or Tech in Surgery (TS-C) from National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) required upon hire
- Two years prior experience in a similar size facility with similar services provided
- Must have experience with open heart
- Must be competent to perform as lead in all of the following specialty areas: Robotic, Total Joints, Neuro/Spine, Burn and Vascular Surgery
- Basic Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Job Summary and Qualifications
The MRI Technologist performs routine and specialized magnetic resonance imaging of organs, organ systems and blood flow studies. The MRI Tech presents images and patient information/history to the Radiologist so that a comprehensive diagnostic report is available to referring physician.
What you will do in this role:
- You will compassionately assist and position patients.
- You will start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
- You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
- You will release patients with proper post procedure instructions.
- You will turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
- You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
What qualifications you will need:
- Graduate of an accredited school or college with certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
- American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT) registered.
- ARRT MR preferred upon hire or must become registry eligible for ARRT MR within 1 year of hire and must complete registry within the 6 months following.
- BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
- 2-3 years MRI experience preferred.
- On Call required and must have the ability to report to the facility within one hour of call back.

Job Summary and Qualifications
We are seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our ambulatory surgery center. Under the direction of your Physician, you will perform a variety of diagnostic radiographic procedures in compliance with established protocols to promote positive patient outcomes. You will be tasked with upholding the HCA mission, to commit to the care and improvement of human life.
What you will do:
- Prepares patients for exams and procedures. Assesses patient condition prior to and during all radiologic procedures.
- Assemble necessary supplies and positioning aids for scheduling your procedures according to your physician’s preference card
- Tests and monitor your equipment for proper working condition
- You will document records and other forms, accurately adhering to approved policies/procedures
- Confirm that all persons in your room are appropriately shielded before activating x-ray
- Communicate information about your patient’s status to other staff responsible for your patient’s care
- Perform required maintenance of your instruments, supplies, and equipment by adhering to cleaning care, storage, and calibration procedures
Qualifications you will need:
- Graduate of accredited school of radiology required
- 1+ years' experience as a Radiology Technician required, preferably in an operating room or surgery center setting
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technicians (ARRT) Required
- BLS required (Within 30-Days of Start)
- State Radiology Technician license required

Job Summary and Qualifications

- Complete MR safety questionnaire prior exam.
- Document GFR for contrasted procedures, following established GFR safety protocol.

- Respond to patients needs in regards to apprehension and anxiety.
- Responsible for maintaining equipment and supplies necessary for quality patient care.
- Participate in quality control and performance improvement and performs other related duties as requested.
- Learn and be knowledgeable of the operation of MR anesthesia equipment.
- Be highly motivated and able to act independently of supervisor.
- Exhibit strong personal skills including written and verbal communication.
MRSO specific responsibilities:
- Assures the responsibility of the safety of patients along with the chief radiologist medical officer, and medical physicist by establishing MR policies and protocols are followed during daily operations.
- Developing MR safety education and training for medical, technical, nursing, and ancillary staff that may enter the MR environment.
- The MRSO, with assistance from Radiologist, Physicist role includes, but are not limited to the providing of high-level advice on the engineering and scientific aspects of MR safety as it applies to a specific MR unit, provide safe advice regarding acceptance testing after a new installation or upgrade, and be an advisor for the safe implementation of MR protocols, especially those involving MR imaging of medical implanted devices & those device represent ivies who service those devices.
What qualifications you will need:
- Graduate of an accredited school or college with certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
- American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT) registered.
- ARRT MR required upon hire.
- MRSO certification required within six (6) months of employment or role change.
- BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
- Minimum three (3) years MRI experience including diagnostic procedures, contrast studies, and patient monitoring.
