Supervisory Responsibilities

CD will oversee BCBAs and RBTs directly reporting to them. The CD may also oversee center-level administrative staff.

We are seeking a BC/BE Hematologist/Oncologist to join our southeast NM practice.

Responsibilities

  • Solo oncologist – outpatient 100%
  • Full infusion suite with 8 full-time oncology-certified infusion nurses
  • Experienced Family NP on site
  • No radiology at this facility
  • Monday – Thursday 8–5, Friday 8–12
  • Lucrative contracts with bonus structure – RVU based
  • PET/CT in clinic along with full radiology and high complexity lab
  • Stable, J-1 friendly and experienced. We will entertain J-1, US Citizen and EAD

About the Role

Following our growth in other markets, we're now looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to support our expansion into the U.S. market. As Legal Counsel, you'll develop and execute a robust legal strategy that enables compliant entry and expansion into the U.S. market. You'll be at the heart of our legal operations, supporting various aspects of our business with your legal expertise. From drafting contracts and agreements to providing strategic legal advice, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our compliance and success. Reporting to the Global CLO, you'll support legal affairs across corporate, regulatory, and commercial domains.

What You'll Be Doing

Market Entry & Compliance

  • Guide legal structuring including U.S. entity formation and licensing requirements
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. federal/state regulations for online travel agencies (OTA), data protection (CCPA), consumer protection, labour, and immigration
  • Navigate aviation, accommodation, and transportation laws

Contracts & Commercial

  • Draft and review agreements with U.S. customers, vendors, and partners
  • Manage NDAs, procurement, SaaS, and platform integration contracts

Corporate Governance & IP

  • Advise on corporate structure, board operations, and stock/option plans
  • Manage US trademarks, patents, and technology licensing

Regulatory Affairs & Risk Management

  • Oversee compliance for anti-trust, ADA, GDPR/CCPA, and tax registrations
  • Design enterprise risk framework and mitigation policies

Disputes & Litigation

  • Manage AR/debt collection, legal disputes, settlements, and class action defence
  • Coordinate with external counsel when needed
  • Liaise with CFO and other executives for seamless legal advising

Policy & Ethics

  • Develop global legal policies
  • Train U.S. staff on key legal matters

What You Bring

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
  • Bar membership
  • 3+ years legal experience (international firms, domestic firms, or in-house ideally in travel/OTA, fintech, or SaaS companies)
  • U.S. business expansion experience - Must understand different legal requirements across states; experience with foreign tech companies entering U.S. market preferred
  • Strong contract drafting skills - Enterprise SaaS, partnerships, and integrations experience is a plus
  • Regulatory knowledge - Experience with multi-state regulations and geographical compliance (Knowledge in ADA, FAA, CCPA and Civil Aviation laws is highly advantageous)
  • Corporate governance experience

Compensation

$110K – $150K. The final compensation is based on work experience, qualifications, interview performance, location and other factors evaluated during the hiring process.

Qualification and Skills

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1-2 years of previous quick service restaurant experience, experience in management preferred
  • Some understanding of P&L interpretation and management to influence profitability
  • Ability to prioritize own and others’ work and time to meet deadlines and objectives
