Hearst Technology is seeking a dynamic and energetic individual with a strong technology and financial management background to help implement and operationalize a Technology Business Management solution designed to position executives with the knowledge to manage and communicate the cost, quality, and value of IT Services. The candidate will be expected to:

· Define and review regularly with stakeholders from business, IT and Finance the list of use cases for technology business management within Hearst Technology (chargeback, service pricing, IT Total Cost of Ownership, benchmarking, etc.)

· Gather reports requirements from stakeholders in business, IT and Finance

· Translate use cases and report requirements into a working set of operational and financial models, metrics, dashboards, and management reports

· Identify and document all data sources, systems of records supporting the collection of data for TBM analytics from systems of record such as General Ledger, Fixed Assets, ServiceNow, etc. and interpret data into information and share across all multiple audiences

· Implement operational and financial models, metrics, dashboards, and management reports

· Operationalize data collection and reporting monthly by loading, validating, and reviewing reports on a timely basis with business, IT and Finance stakeholders

· Provide analytics for ad hoc IT strategic initiatives (sourcing strategy, cloud computing strategy, migration projects, application rationalization, etc.)


Preferred Skills / Experience

· Bachelors-level degree in Finance and Accounting or a related field

· 5+ years experience in IT Finance or a TBM-related role

· Experience in Technology Accounting, GAAP, strategy advisory, FinOps, IT

management consulting or IT Data Analytics

· Ability to work with minimal supervision efficiently and effectively with multiple levels of management and staff across the organization, particularly within the Technology and Finance organizations

· Knowledge of IT services and financial management processes and best practices such as budgeting, cost allocations for chargeback, benchmarking, service costing and service pricing

· Self-starter, Strong leadership, organizational, communications skills - capable of motivating and managing organizations or teams to deliver desired results

· Advanced analytical skills with financial, cloud data and the ability to summarize data quickly and accurately

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Sales & Revenue Ownership
  • Own and close enterprise-level opportunities from discovery through contract execution
  • Conduct in-depth discovery across operations, procurement, and executive stakeholders

  • Independently build and advance pipeline within target verticals

Qualifications – Needed

Financial Close & General Accounting

Assist with external audits and preparation of audit support schedules.

Inventory & Cost Accounting

Job Details

We are seeking a Finance Systems Business Lead to serve as a key liaison between Finance, Accounting, and IT within a global manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for supporting and enhancing our enterprise finance systems, with a primary focus on JD Edwards (JDE) EnterpriseOne (9.2) and related financial applications.

This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, functionality, and continuous improvement of our finance systems by translating business requirements into scalable system solutions, supporting implementation and enhancement projects, and ensuring alignment with global standards.

Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary Finance Systems lead supporting JD Edwards (JDE) within the finance organization
Partner with Finance, Accounting, IT, and global stakeholders to gather, document, and translate business requirements into system solutions
Lead and support system enhancements, implementations, upgrades, and ongoing ERP support activities
Manage and execute testing cycles, including UAT, integration testing, and issue resolution
Support month-end close processes and general ledger integrity through system troubleshooting and optimization
Identify and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities within finance systems
Collaborate with global teams and external vendors to ensure system stability and performance
Develop and maintain documentation, procedures, and training materials to support end users
Provide ongoing support for related finance tools and applications integrated with the ERP ecosystem

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3–5+ years of experience in ERP systems, finance systems, or business systems analysis roles
Hands-on experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (preferred) or similar ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes (GL, reporting, month-end close)
Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or multi-site/global environments strongly preferred
Demonstrated experience with requirements gathering, system testing (UAT), and system implementation support
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, global team environment

Preferred Experience
Exposure to manufacturing or industrial ERP environments
Experience with tools such as BlackLine, Concur, HFM, Boomi, or similar integrated finance systems
Familiarity with manufacturing and/or order-to-cash or procure-to-pay processes within ERP systems
