Responsibilities

• Provide consulting expertise to SOLTECH clients to translate business visions into actionable software designs through requirements gathering, architecture design, and implementation planning.
• Create project guidance deliverables including solution designs, low-fidelity wireframes, user stories, process diagrams, and conceptual data models.
• Provide consulting and technical advisement in the form of technical assessments, system evaluations, and solution ideation, supported by strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Provide technical leadership and perform hands-on implementation in technologies including Node.js, React, .NET, Azure, AWS, and related platforms.
• Design and support the implementation of AI-enabled application architectures, including model integration, data pipelines, and production deployment considerations.
• Design and architect modern data solutions including Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and cloud-based analytics platforms to support enterprise reporting, AI enablement, and scalable application development.
• Provide architectural guidance for modern data stack tooling such as Databricks, dbt, Snowflake, and related ecosystem technologies.
• Utilize strong leadership and consulting skills to support pre- and post-sales stages, including upfront solution recommendations, architecture direction, and project scoping.
• Collaborate with clients to define AI and data strategies, ensuring alignment between business goals, data architecture, and AI implementation plans.

Qualifications

• Current, hands-on, senior-level experience with back-end programming languages such as Node.js and .NET (C#), with familiarity in other languages such as Python or PHP a plus. Candidates must be comfortable with regular hands-on coding and mentoring engineers through complex technical challenges.
• Superior experience with cloud architecture and deployments in Azure and AWS.
• Experience designing and implementing containerized solutions using Docker, with Kubernetes experience a plus.
• Hands-on experience delivering enterprise web and mobile applications in a consulting environment.
• Demonstrated experience architecting and delivering AI-enabled solutions in real-world, production environments, beyond basic AI-assisted development tools.

AI + Data Platform Experience (Strongly Preferred)

• Experience designing and delivering modern data platforms, including Data Lakes and Data Warehouses.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data and analytics tools such as Databricks, Snowflake, dbt, and related technologies.
• Experience deploying AI/ML solutions using platforms such as Azure OpenAI, AWS SageMaker, or Databricks.
• Ability to speak confidently and credibly to:

• Integrating AI or machine learning models into applications
• Implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions
• Fine-tuning or extending models using approaches such as LoRA

• Exposure to data platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau) is a plus, particularly where experience bridges data, AI, and application development.
• Strong understanding of scalability, security, and operational considerations for AI solutions in production.
• Proven ability to consult and collaborate with external clients and clearly articulate technical solutions that align with business needs, particularly in live discussions and sales-facing scenarios.
• Experience with solution design methodologies including requirements facilitation, wireframing, user story development, flow diagramming, and use case modeling.
• Experience with Big Data, AI/ML, or advanced analytics solutions is a strong plus.
