Essential Functions :

  • Conducting daily equipment and preventative maintenance inspections

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years' experience in heavy and or equipment service operations skid steers, excavators, etc ...

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to various extreme conditions as this position works indoors and outdoors. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

Field Service Wind Turbine Technician

Work Model: This role can be performed remotely from an approved location, with flexibility based on business needs and applicable requirements.

To succeed as a Field Service Wind Turbine Technician, you'll need to be open to travel to customer wind farms for long periods of time, work independently, have great communication skills, and be well organized. We are looking for a motivated individual with a technical background in servicing wind turbines. The Field Service Technician will provide hands on service and aftermarket support for our customers in North America (worldwide, if needed). He or she will also support our claims and quality department in North America (worldwide, if needed). The candidate for this position will work closely with our management team based in Denver, CO. If you're equipped with Basic Safety Training (BST), Basic Technical Training (BTT), and Advanced Rescue Training (ART) certifications from the Global Wind Organization (GWO), consider this a step ahead!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ability to do 100% Travel - This role requires extensive travel throughout the United States. Candidates may be based anywhere in the U.S.; however, frequent domestic travel is expected. A valid passport is required.
  • Field Service Technician will travel to support various scopes of work across US, and possibly Mexico and Canada. The Technician must be competent to work on wind turbines. Specific trainings and electrical / mechanical competencies are an asset.
  • Technician must climb wind turbines (upwards of 130m) to perform diagnostic testing, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs to mechanical, electrical and hydraulic components/systems.

Critical Competencies

Physical Requirements

  • Comfort with Heights: Must be able to climb wind turbine towers up to 300 feet and work confidently at elevated heights for extended periods.

Working directly with the Coordinator for Student Life, Student Organizations, this position will supervise student employees, support student organizations, and manage marketing materials. This position is expected to work 20 hours a week within business hours of Student Leadership and Involvement office (Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm).

Duties and Responsibilities

Supervision and evaluation of Program Assistant student employees (Club House and SLI front desk workers) Provide direct student organization support, including: one on one advising with various clubs as needed, communication with student organization student leadership, collaborating with faculty/staff advisers, other opportunities as created or suggested Assist the Student Organization Annual Registration Process Manage Student Organization marketing, including but not limited to newsletters and social media engagement Serve as a key contributor in supporting students through the "Start an Organization" process Serve as a member of the Explore Madison Committee Serve as a member of the Destress Fest committee, a department wide effort in Student Life Assist in the planning, organizing, and implementation of the Adviser Welcome and Adviser Celebration Support the Student Leader Framework implementation Help plan and implement Student Org Night (Fall and Spring) Other Duties as assigned

ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION SUMMARY


The Accounting Specialist provides support for accounting processes (bookkeeping, receivables, payables, invoicing, payment application) in terms of transaction processing and audit, analysis, error resolution, and process administration. This position will be responsible for ownership of day-to-day accounting functions.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Primary responsibilities include accounting, collecting, analyzing, and reporting on various accounts.
  • Research and apply all incoming/outgoing payments to the appropriate invoices.
  • Assist with monthly financial close process.
  • Review accounts and follow up on any outstanding balances.
  • Desire to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Initiate and respond to collection phone calls and email inquiries.
  • Receive and enter payments via phone, email, and mail.
  • Enter customer invoices into portals and follow up to resolve all submission issues.
  • Manage outstanding payment issues and generate aging reports and related correspondence in a timely manner.
  • Escalating issues appropriately to ensure resolution.
  • Verify discrepancies and resolve billing issues while maintaining a pleasant and courteous demeanor.
  • Coordinate with various departments as it relates to accounting.
  • Maintain a consistent sense of urgency while also maintaining a balanced plan for workload.
  • Interact with fellow teammates to strengthen and maintain a growth mindset culture.
  • Ongoing training on business systems, product information, personal, and professional growth.
  • General office and team assistance and collaboration as needed.

  • SAP experience a plus

  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years of equivalent work experience.
