DEPARTMENT: Shipping & Receiving

REPORTS TO: Facilities Manager & Warehouse Supervisor

STATUS: Non-Exempt

LOCATION: Houston, TX 77086

JOB SUMMARY: The Receiving & Warehouse Clerk, under the Warehouse Lead's guidance, is responsible for various warehouse functions including receiving, labeling, inspections, and material handling. The clerk ensures compliance with safety practices and contributes to a well-organized and efficient warehouse environment. Utilizing forklifts and order pickers, the clerk supports material rotation and longevity by adhering to FIFO practices, conducts audits, and assists in layout rearrangements. This role involves computer terminal and electronic equipment use for data input and supports a safety-focused and clean warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

Receiving and Inspection:

  • Perform receiving, labeling, and incoming inspections of materials.
  • Ensure compliance with material handling and safety practices.

Material Handling:

  • Operate forklifts, order pickers, and other materials moving equipment after obtaining internal certification.
  • Pick and decant materials, handling and delivering them to internal customers.

Warehouse Management:

  • Maintain material controls to ensure proper rotation and longevity of product shelf life.
  • Conduct material audits and contribute to warehouse layout rearrangements for improved efficiency.

Data Input:

  • Input data into company systems using computer terminals, scanners, or other electronic equipment.

Safety and Housekeeping:

  • Adhere to established safety practices and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
  • Follow good safety and housekeeping practices in alignment with Reotemp standards.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Basic knowledge of Warehousing, Logistics, Material Handling, or Manufacturing safety practices.
  • Enthusiastic, quick learner, and positive attitude.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Dependable, with a strong work ethic (minimum 40 hours/week).
  • Good communication skills in English (read and speak English proficiently).
  • Ability to work with electronic technologies (computers, scanners, etc.).
  • Obtain internal certification to operate forklifts, order pickers, or other materials moving equipment.
  • Demonstrated flexibility to handle diverse tasks and work assignments.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams to achieve common goals.
  • Attention to detail in organizing materials and prioritizing tasks.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience in warehousing, logistics, and/or manufacturing production settings.
  • Willingness to learn how to search and input data into computer systems.
  • Experience driving a forklift desired, or willingness to learn how to operate industrial vehicles.
  • Disciplined and orderly oriented.
  • Thrives in an environment of shifting priorities and can prioritize work with minimum supervision.
  • Enjoys problem-solving.
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Google Sheets) and email skills are highly desired.

Job Summary

The Receptionist will be the welcoming face of our headquarters office in Philadelphia. In this role, you'll manage the front desk, greet guests, and keep the flow of the office running smoothly. Your main responsibilities will include coordinating deliveries, assisting with meeting check-ins, and supporting basic office tasks like organizing supplies and helping staff as needed. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the front desk, including answering phones and maintaining a tidy reception area.
  • Work closely with the Office Manager and Office Assistant to support daily operations, events, and overall workplace experience.
  • Coordinate deliveries such as mail, packages, and courier drop-offs; ensure items reach the correct recipients.
  • Greet and assist visitors in a warm, professional manner and notify staff of arrivals.
  • Support meeting coordination by checking in guests, directing them to conference rooms, and assisting with basic setup needs.
  • Assist with office tasks such as organizing supplies, filing, printing, and light administrative support.
  • Communicate with vendors for building access, maintenance visits, or scheduled services.
  • Monitor office supplies and notify the team when restocking is needed.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Previous customer service or administrative experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable interacting with visitors and staff.

  • Basic proficiency with email and office software (Outlook, Word, etc.).
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to manage the front desk independently.

  • Military experience is a plus.

Compensation

  • Estimated Hourly Range: $15.00-$18.00 USD.
  • Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, and qualifications.
  • The hourly range refers to the hourly pay rate only and is not inclusive of the total compensation package.

Compensation: $20-$30/hr. with frequent overtime

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work
As a Field Technician, you will execute hands-on environmental remediation, waste management, and industrial maintenance tasks. Your core duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • Radiological Surveys & Sampling: After completing training, conduct technical radiological surveys with hand-held equipment, capture collected data (written/ipad), collect material samples (soil, water, and waste), take notes, pictures, and document general site observations for site characterization.
  • Oil & Gas Facility Maintenance: Perform manual labor that includes vessel filter swap-outs, deep cleaning of equipment, packaging / sampling waste, collect documentation, and safely complete all tasks with the proper PPE.
  • Tank & Pipeline Operations: Execute tank pump-outs with hand-tools and industrial equipment, perform confined space entry and cleanings, and support specialized pipeline integrity tool cleaning operations (pigging).
  • Waste Management & Packaging: Be part of the team to execute safe and compliant waste packaging, labeling, and securing of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials for transport on truck and trailers.  CDL drivers are preferred.
  • Civil & Environmental Remediation: Perform manual labor and equipment operation (training provided) to rebuild, line, and restore environmental containment ponds, as well as hands-on site demolition and decommissioning.
  • Logistics & Transportation: Safely transport materials, equipment, and waste to and from project sites in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Facility & Asset Upkeep: Maintain, clean, and service company equipment to ensure field readiness, while keeping the warehouse organized, safe, and efficiently structured.
Position Requirements
The successful candidate must be a team player, a "people person," and possess a genuine hunger to learn. While we provide top-tier training, we need someone with a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to retain and apply new field operation skills.
  • Skills & Aptitude: Able to apply strong mechanical aptitude to various hands-on field situations.
  • Learning Agility: A quick learner who can easily master new principles/techniques and integrate them into daily work.
  • Drive: Self-motivated with a strong internal work ethic.
  • Safety & Compliance: Passionate about working safely, able to follow strict safety protocols, and able to pass an initial and regular drug/alcohol testing.
  • Background: Possess a clean criminal background and a clean DMV driving record.
  • Physical Demands: Physically capable of lifting a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Travel & Schedule: Willing to travel for out-of-state projects (100% company-paid expenses) and work long hours/overtime when a project demands it.
  • Bonus Points: Heavy equipment experience is a plus, but not necessary. Prior experience in hydro-vac operation, industrial tank cleaning, environmental remediation, or general environmental field services is highly desired. RAD PROS will provide training for all machinery, specialized equipment, and field functions.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive Hourly Wage: $20.00 to $30.00+ per hour, highly dependent on your experience, certifications, and capabilities.
  • Premium Pay: Opportunities for higher pay rates on State and Federal Davis-Bacon Act projects.
  • Overtime: Paid overtime is available and frequently required to meet the schedule.
