    Description
    We are looking for a careful forklift operator to move packages and material around our facilities. You will be operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. Your job could involve driving around warehouses, storage spaces and other facilities. You must be a responsible individual with great experience in driving industrial vehicles. The goal will be to ensure that material and products will always be at the right place to achieve maximum efficiency.
    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places.
  • Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
  • Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
  • Transport raw materials to production workstations.

Being a team player is essential since all tasks require close collaboration with co-workers. Ability to troubleshoot the machine to maintain efficiency and quality of product is important.
    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    1. Set up machine for production
    2. Adjust and control machine speed setting
    3. Feed raw material or parts into semi-automated machines
    4. Ensure parts are correct compared to drawing and make corrections/adjustments as needed
    5. Check for any mistakes or flaws in parts
    6. Maintain records of units produced
    7. Keep production flowing by ensuring parts are complete
    8. Ability to be a good team member and contribute to a team environment.
