MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE
  • Associate's Degree in Biomedical Electronics or Healthcare Technology Management, with current enrollment or progression toward a Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Five years of related work experience. At a minimum, occupational experience has to have occurred at least 1 year within the past 5 years.
  • Extensive experience working with a broad range of biomedical equipment and devices across multiple medical disciplines, with direct field experience in hospital settings or as a field service technician for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), typically demonstrated in a BMET III role. Also known as the Forward Observer, Fire Support Specialists act as the eyes of an artillery unit and are primarily responsible for target acquisition and relaying that information to artillery units at all levels.
