Surgical Services Float Pool- Enterprise Pre-op & PACU

  • Schedule : Day Shift, PRN. Department requires candidate to be available for 1 shift per week as the minimum requirements. Shifts are 8 hours, within a window of 5:30A-5:30P, M-F. Schedules done on a 6 week time tract. 
  • Department : Pre-Op/PACU

  • Requirements: Candidates must have a minimum of two years of both preop and PACU experience, within both inpatient & ASC settings.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Vocational or Technical Certification Post Secondary degree or Technical Certifications, preferred
  • Basic tools, required
  • Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines including:
  • Routine preventative maintenance, which should include oil changes, brake and tire work, required
  • Two (2) years or more of a combination of classroom training and work experience in required experience, preferred
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A,preferred
  • This position requires for you to drive Ryder vehicles. In order to become a Ryder employee you must:
  • Must be able to obtain CDL within 6 months after hire
  • Pass a Ryder Drug Test
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

Responsibilities

  • Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties
  • Performs standard vehicle maintenance
  • Performs standard component inspections and repairs
  • Performs preventive maintenance
  • Diagnoses standard mechanical and electronic problems, utilizing diagnostic computer when applicable
  • Identifies root cause of basic failures/conditions and perform repairs as required
  • Replaces defective components as instructed
  • Performs facility maintenance duties
  • Interacts with customers/drivers to properly determine nature of complaint once assigned a task
  • Utilizes key functions of Shop Management System and electronic documentation available
  • Works in accordance with all federal/ provincial and corporate compliance guidelines (i.e., safety, DOT, MOT)
  • Performs other support duties as required to support operations. These could include but are not limited to Service Island support

  • At least 2 years of leadership experience in food service, healthcare, senior living, long-term care, rehabilitation, or hospitality
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
  • Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

  • Experience with budgeting, inventory, labor management, and cost controls
  • Experience preparing for state surveys and maintaining regulatory compliance

Interpret Business Needs

Translates business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint to achieve business objectives and documents all solution architecture design and analysis work.

Works closely with the Orion Portfolio Leadership, Project teams, and IT Enterprise Architecture committee to ensure a robust architectural runway that can support future business requirements throughout the product lifecycle.

Understands business drivers and business capabilities (future and current state) and determines corresponding enterprise solution designs and change requirements to drive the organization's targeted business outcomes.

Provides input and guidance on individual and team weekly goals, monitor progress through a positive, collaborative and encouraging work environment.

Example of potential deliverables provided while performing this role: requirements traceability document, business process/capability impact assessment and business process diagrams.

Assess Technology

Assesses the current state of implemented services and solutions and identifies any deficiencies, like the aging of the technologies used by the application, or misalignment with business requirements.

Supports product managers in end-of-life product decisions to maintain, refresh or retire services, or systems, including applications, technologies, processes, and information.

Understands emerging technology trends and disruptions and their practical application to enable new and evolving business and operating models.

Analyzes the technology industry, competitors, and market trends, and determines their potential implications for a given solution.

Analyzes the business-IT environment to detect critical deficiencies, legacy, and technical debt, and recommends solutions for improvement within our Orion Portfolio.

Apply Technology

Manages and develops the architecture for a broader scope of projects or products, working closely with application, and system architects that manage and design architecture within our Business License Management services or other State agencies that interface with the Business Licensing services.

Develops a roadmap for the evolution of the enterprise solution portfolio from current to future state, as defined by the requirements.

Acts as a consultant on a broad range of technologies, platforms, and vendor offerings to drive targeted business outcomes.

Creates architectural designs to guide and contextualize solution development across products, services, projects, and systems, including applications, technologies, processes, and information.

Works closely with the Orion Portfolio leadership team to ensure the execution of plans corresponds with what is being promised throughout the Orion program effort.

Provides consulting support to application architects within Secretary of State’s IT teams to ensure the program is aligned with the overall enterprise architecture for the Secretary of State’s IT operation.

Provides deliverables like standard definitions, reference models and architecture designs to support architectural governance to assess the impact of new and ongoing technology investment on the business and the Secretary of State’s IT environment.

Supports a Community of Practice (CoP), guiding and helping Orion Program and Project teams to align with the overall enterprise architecture governance and assurance.

Designs and directs the governance activities associated with ensuring solution’s architecture assurance and compliance.

Defines the principles, guidelines, standards, and solution patterns to ensure solution decisions are aligned with the enterprise's future-

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated Solution Architecture experience and verifiable business outcomes achieved for organizations where you have performed this role in your career.
  • 3-5 years of Solution Architecture experience.
  • Communicates clearly in English, both verbally and in writing, with project team members and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and deliver requested deliverables on time.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Demonstrated can‑do attitude.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities. Moves quickly to address unexpected problems or opportunities.
