Position Overview

Reporting to the Supervising Attorney for Immigrant Rights, the Staff Attorney in Immigrant Rights/Anti-Human Trafficking will offer legal representation to low-income clients across various immigration-related remedies. They will actively participate in community outreach, represent the organization at various forums, and assist in the broader administrative tasks of the organization. This role will be instrumental in our mission to serve underserved Asian, Pacific Islander, and BIPOC communities in the Greater Bay Area and is based in our San Francisco or East Bay office depending on space and program need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive legal representation and consultations in areas including removal defense, asylum, naturalization services, and various petitions such as U, T, and VAWA.
  • Conduct thorough legal assessments with clients to screen for potential immigration remedies and other legal needs.
  • Represent clients at interviews before USCIS and hearings before EOIR Immigration Judges
  • Engage in community education and outreach activities.
  • Staff clinics and workshops at locations accessible to clients.
  • Offer technical assistance and training to both community and public agencies.
  • Represent API Legal Outreach at meetings with community partners, funders and collaboratives.
  • Supervise volunteers, interns, and pro bono attorneys when required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of litigation and/or work experience in low-income communities, particularly serving recent immigrants.

  • Membership in good standing of the California or another US Bar; provisional bar candidates will also be considered.

  • Drive continued adoption and growth of Sequel products by facilitating a successful product experience for both the healthcare provider and product user.
  • Consistently exhibit a high level of proficiency and expertise in discussing and demonstrating Sequel products, as well as expertise in diabetes and therapeutic options for diabetes care.
  • Collaborate with customer care and sales support to optimize the user experience.
  • Communicate HCP feedback cross‑functionally to solve problems and improve product development.
  • Represent Sequel products at conventions and educational forums to increase product awareness.
  • Manage all leads and opportunities in customer relations database daily and submit product training documentation as required.
  • Maintain a high profile with state and local patient advocacy groups and professional diabetes organizations, such as local chapters of ADA (American Diabetes Association), ADCES (Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists), and Breakthrough T1D (formerly known as Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).

The Senior Territory Business Leader will have the following additional responsibilities:

  • Assist with field sales training.
  • Mentor junior staff.
  • Participate on internal advisory boards with cross‑functional departments.
  • As needed, lead weekly team calls, regional and/or area calls and/or meetings.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of sales experience with a demonstrated history of sales success.
  • Valid driver’s license.

For the Senior TBL role:

  • 4+ years of sales experience within pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industries with a demonstrated history of sales success. Experience in diabetes and selling automated insulin devices preferred.

$185 - $215 a year

The total base salary and target incentive compensation for this position is $185,000 - $215,000 annually (based on the achievement of goals). Base pay varies based on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. To profitably operate the restaurant within the practice and procedures established by Burger King Corporation and the company. This position is responsible for cost control, customer service, restaurant and employee appearance, building sales, maximizing profits and employee development.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for working the front counter to ensure quality service. Checks product quality and communicates with customers and assures availability. Effectively trains and coaches employees to show courtesy and handling of complaints.
  • Conduct meetings with team members and management team for the purpose of planning, training, and reviewing operations/management procedures and policies.
  • Develops and maintains an acceptable level of sales. Utilizes local store marketing.

Maintain team member’s personnel files in accordance with federal, state and local law. Posts all Federal and State required posters.
